Hi! I’m Michelle James. I’m obsessed with creating the most lifelike dolls possible. Each one takes me several weeks to create, and I add all the details that contribute to realism like veins, capillaries, undertones and variations in skin color. I’m known in the reborn community for my very lifelike eyes. I carefully root eyelashes and choose the highest quality german glass eyes. I believe lifelike eyes are so important.

In order to stay inspired as an artist and avoid burnout, I paint the kits that inspire me rather than taking custom orders. My dolls sell quickly, often within minutes of posting. You can sign up to be notified who I’m creating next and when they will be available for purchase. The prices are $400-$500 for cuddle babies (depending on open or closed eyes, and kit availability) and $900-$1200 for full limb kits. Toddlers, rooted hair, and rare kits will cost more.
